Simply had no choice but to bring my rating up for this one after seeing her live in Helsinki. Hands down, the best live performance I've ever seen. Never before I've been as enchanted and stunned with my mouth open during a live show (I was high as fuck tho). It was amazing to witness brand new aspects, tones and layers which she could summon to these songs live. It also feels very organic and psychedelic, and I absolutely love ... read more
THIS HEAT - DECEIT (my longest review yet)
"Whenever any form of government | Becomes destructive of these ends | It is the right of the people to alter or abolish it" - U.S Decleration of Independence
The doomer post-punk trio This Heat delivers anti-capitalist messages and claustrophobic anxiety about humanity's hopeless journey towards its demise, which have never been more relevant than today. Although the album primarily presents this journey as an inexorable path towards ... read more
