although debut can feel repetitive in spots, where it isnt repetitive, its super interesting sonically. it is a bit all over the place, but every idea presented here is done well, and is tied together by björks incredibly unique, entertaining voice. theres some incredible peaks here, and the low points are still quite enjoyable.
the worst part of this new drake record is drake. the production on this record is very good, and i often found myself zoning the vocals out to focus on the beats. the features on here are fairly strong, with some pretty dope performances from artists like yeat, teezo touchdown and sexyy red, and thats kinda where the album peaks tbh. theres something so tiring and unenjoyable about drakes vocals on like 95 percent of this album that made it very hard to get through. this shit could been 40 ... read more

when i heard that a record comprised entirely of remixes of songs from this is why was releasing, i was a little sceptical. i tend to not be a fan of alot of remixes or covers and stuff, so i was wary of what this record had to offer. not only was everything here super strong and very faithful to the original album, but it just shows the strength of paramores writing on this is why. some of these songs are completely transformed, but still have the charm that their source material held, and ... read more
