I haven't given out a 9 in like a month but this is most definitely deserving of it. This is, without a doubt, the strongest Yung Lean project I've heard thus far. It is as consistent as Frost God and Poison Ivy, my other two favs, but with higher peaks. The production is just stellar, cosmic, otherworldly, as are Lean's vocals which I found surprisingly accessible for this being a hit or miss time for cloud rap, at least in my experiences. This album is just back to back to back great stuff from beginning to end, including the instrumental intro, interlude, and outro. "Sunrise Angel" is my personal favourite, going absolutely hard but also being kinda beautiful? "Yoshi City", "Volt", "Leanworld", "Blinded", "Sandman", hell, everything here is great. This album is addicting too I haven't been able to put it down since I listened a few days ago. So damn good.
