Busta Rhymes is one of my favourite rappers of all time. His cadence, eccentric personality, and sharp lyricism always drew me in. I strongly believe he has one of the strongest discographies in the genre. However, since his EP, "The Fuse Is Lit" from last year (2022), I was nervous about another Busta release. That EP was kinda weak, and brought nothing worth anticipation to the table. "Run It Up" with Capella Grey is the only song from it that I occasionally revisit. ... read more
I wasn't expecting much from the Beach Boys' debut, and while a handful of tracks don't really do anything for me, this album has a nice charm to it. It isn't outstanding, and it's awfully simple, but sometimes its simplicity works in its favour. "County fair" is a nice sounding song, and the skits in between are kind of stupid but nice. That's basically this whole album: dumb but enjoyable-dumb.
The intro, "Surfin' Safari" is a groove, maybe the best on the album. ... read more
Holy. Easier is honestly amazing, gotta agree with Riley. I also was iffy about Guess Who? at first, but that second verse absolutely HITS. He just doesn't stop man. QUAD DID.
Okay-er than Bawskee 2 thats for sure. I was really waiting for the beat to kick in on STAND but it just didn't. It's an entirely acapella track. Generally, the beats suffer the same lacklustreness of his previous work, but at least Comethazine is bringing more passion and effort into his rapping, it turns songs that would otherwise be unlistenable to listenable. That being said, it's still not good. It isn't special or unique, but its not the worst.
I think I've had my fill of comethazine.
I was listening to Holland for the first time and originally I was just going to listen to the original 9 tracks, but there was more, and I curiously checked it out. It's a pretty stupid fairy tale EP, the story isn't even good really, but it's just so random that I didn't exactly get bored. That being said, for what its worth, it ain't much.
The Beach Boys have mounds of underrated music in their catalogue and this is definitely one of the best that falls under that category. As the boys were fading from relevancy, they proved to still be capable of pumping out a focused, refined album. Unfortunately, The Beach Boys were too far out of the spotlight for their 70s creative efforts to receive the recognition they deserved.
Holland shines in its consistency. It doesn't try to have as much fun as other Beach Boys albums and rightfully ... read more

I’ve been kinda iffy about this 10 for a while and I revisited to reevaluate. As I thought I would, I’m taking it outta my 10s, but that’s not to downplay how breathtaking this album still is. Really though when I’m comparing to other stuff it kinda falls short.
Wow. I'm absolutely STUNNED by the beauty of this album. It's packed with emotion and it doesn't feel like generic indie/songwriters material. I didn't know who ... read more
Initially I was iffy about this but it really turns up about half way through. Super fun Beach Boys album.
Bonus tracks bored me. You Broke My Heart is fire as shit tho and would rank as one of the best on the original tracklist.
Some bangers but most of it is pretty lifeless with beyond mediocre production and bad lyricism.
A few really rough spots but overall its pretty good and definitely has some of Billie's most exciting music.
Pleased with the new MMT mixes. "Old Brown Shoe" and "Revolution" aren't what I hoped for. On OBS, while the instruments sound cleaner, George still sounds like he's on the other side of the room, Revolution doesn't really add much, it still goes hard but I wanted more out of it. That said, the "Magical Mystery Tour" title track got a really nice boost. the horns at the beginning sound as punchy and grand as ever. However, the biggest highlight for me has got to be ... read more
Absolutely PHENOMENAL new mixes of early Beatles classics that were desperate of a clean up. The hard panning issues are fixed and the songs sound clearer and more balanced than ever. I didn't even know there was a bongo part in A Hard Day's Night and the new mixed has totally changed my perception of the song for the better. The most notable of the new mixes in my opinion are Please Please Me, This Boy (holy shit its so good probably the best [always loved this song but to see it get this ... read more
It's good. Not as good as her previous work but I don't really have any complaints.
It's pretty good. No complaints really except I did not like Empire State. Probably my least favourite Fleetwood Mac song that I've heard. But hey, its a clean sounding, refined album. Not mind blowing, but decent. Definitely some tracks worth revisiting such as "Love In Store", "That's Alright", "Straight Back", "Hold Me" and the finale, "Wish You Were Here".
Album cover also hard asf.
Its not that bad. It actually starts out pretty good. Bouncy production, catchy vocals mostly and decent features from Jack Harlow and Latto. after "Yes or No" though the album just takes a plunge into piss poor quality corporate trash pop. "Hate You", "Too Sad to Dance", and "Somebody" are awful and the closer, "Shot Glass of Tears" (I won't count the clean version of "Seven") is just mediocre. It's really not the worst but the ... read more
Wow. I always thought Billie's music was decent, but this was my first full listen of one of her projects. There are a ton of smart production choices on here and often its a great representation of "less is more". Her vocal harmonies sound pure and gorgeous too.
"COPYCAT" can be a little cringe at times but its a pretty well structures song and stays interesting. "idontwannabeyouanymore" is a beautiful, mellow (as is the majority of the EP) and shows great ... read more
