I don’t think I’ve found a modern album I’ve liked this much, if she sticks with this sound, I can’t wait to hear what she has in store next
His best project had to grab it on CD, proud proud peep defender i genuinely enjoy most of his music, he’s one of those artist you know, music nerds will make fun of you for listening to, but you really don’t care, cus tbh with you this is nostalgia bait at it’s finest
No band should have perfect albums back to back but linkin park does, it’s insane actually how they made 2 of the best alternative rock albums back to back in an era where rock was already on a decline, somewhere I belong makes me say hell yeah and pump my first when it comes on
Aw man what happened, there debut was pretty good, I think this album decent enough, nothing too offensive to my ears at least, the song swallowed a an all timer in there catalog for sure tho
My glorious king what is this?!?
This whole album is just Cornell doing a Backstreet Boys impression and not a good one
I do like the song ground zero because I love Cornell as a vocalist
What’s with the minute long transition on every song lol
Definitely the weakest out of the Layne Staley era compared to the others, that’s doesn’t mean it’s bad this album is still really good, but there was no way they could top that generational 3 album run
Been growing my CD collection recently and completed most bands I wanted to, I decided to start picking up albums I haven’t listen to in full and listen to them on CD, pop this in about an hour ago and started playing Minecraft, this might be the most poorly aged album I have ever listened to, seriously what? Did it sound this bad in the 2000s or am I trippin even “last resort” one out of 2 songs i remember listening to from this album did not sound this bad when I was a ... read more
Maybe I grew up, maybe cus I’m not 14 years old anymore. I don’t understand how people enjoy this, for an album called music you think would sound like music? this is actually the worst thing I’ve ever heard, if playboi carti threw up into a porta-potty and recorded it, 14 year old white boys with the worst modern haircut you’ve ever seen, who live in gated communities, will say that I don’t understand the culture and that I don’t get it cus I’m white, ... read more
If I go into music. like I want to, I’d want to be post Malone, thrives in every genre. But post started in r&b and hiphop, I was in middle school when this first came out and compared to the rest of the things i listened to back then, post Malone really seems like the only one whose held the test of time, juice wrld and xxx, and Trippie redd although always have that nostalgic factor, I can’t go back to those artists without cringing and laughing at my old self, but post Malone ... read more
It’s so upsetting that this early grunge band never gets mention they deserve. Picture this, Andy wood and Chris Cornell were good friends and roommates. Cornell, devastated by woods death, created a tribute band, quickly Cornell needed to find a back up for one of the songs, he asked his good friend Eddie vedder, with Cornell’s support, inspires vedder to create his own band. without Andy wood and mother love bone, there would be no temple of the dog, there would be not Pearl Jam, ... read more
With Green Day came pop punk, now the 2nd big rock sub genre to form in the 90s; following grunge in the late 80s to early 90s and followed up by nu metal in the late 90s early 2000s there needed to be something in between. Funny thing is, grunge died by the late 90s and nu metal by the mid 2000s but pop punk is still kicking over almost 30 years later and Green Day is a big reason for that if you want an album to start with, start with dookie, it’s fun. its raunchy, it stood the test of ... read more
If you don’t like this album you take life to seriously, chill out bro, have fun
The black parade will always be the biggest album of there’s but you can’t forget this predecessor, this is nostalgia bait for me, even though i graduated in 22, only a couple years out, but we would have this album on repeat while driving to the beach skipping our last period of the day in our last semester of high school, this album breathes life yk, it’s really fun more then anything, again with the concepts MCR hits it out of the park
Ok ok, another guilty pleasure album, but come on my chem is just genuinely fun, despite how depressing the theme and story of this album is, it’s still a good ass time, it was definitely ahead of its time because it’s quite literally is peak, nothing could compare to this emo masterpiece the genre basically folded in on its self, this post hardcore album has such a basic concept it’s insane they got such a rich story; someone gets diagnosed with cancer and has to come to ... read more
This album has ruined hiphop for me this is right about when I clocked out and stoped paying attention to the up and coming rappers, because now everyone tries to sound like this ear piercing god awful dogshit of an album. 14 year old white kids with ice cream scoops for hair will hit the cart once and say this is the next Beethoven I swear to fucking god. Playboi carti, everyone that is under the opium name and yeat, have genuinely ruined and killed hiphop, this is not culture it’s a ... read more
The music is bad but fun, it sucks but if your blasting down the high way I see the appeal
The fact that his first posthumous album is his best album is beyond me, although it was confirmed that this album was 90% or so completed before he died and had a different name, this is the only juice wrld album I’ll go back and listen in full (minus the skits) the features work, the songs are great and this is the first time the melodic rapper works for me. Very solid
Like I said, juice wrld was a fan favorite of mine in my younger teen years, this album holds a lot of nostalgia, I haven’t gone back to it in years dawg I have no need, the big hitters are the album such as robbery, hear me calling and Syphilis are pretty good, but other then those songs mentioned the rest of the album is pretty mid, such a long album if they removed a couple tracks off it would’ve been better, he’s hella talented, but hes extremely talented at freestyling ... read more
My first 100, I had to give it out some day, I go through my cd collection to play something on my day off, and I end up grabbing this every other time, flawless. The vibes are impeccable. It’s heavier music sure but not heavy enough where non alternative music listeners would be too offended.
