Bad is a very good album but it has a few tracks that are keeping it from a perfect score like "Speed Demon" and this one may be controversial but I don't particularly like the song "Bad", Other than that this album was well produced, has great features and Michael Jackson's vocals are incredible (as always), this is definitely his last great album and it's a shame he stopped working with Quincy Jones after this, as the creativity seemed to die after ... read more
Beatles for Sale......by far their most uninteresting album but it shows their talent because The Beatles at their worst are still better than other British pop bands at their best so.....yeah.
Their are a few songs on here that are decent, none of them are bad, they just don't really have a lot going on.
The best song is "Words of Love", a fantastic cover of a great song.
Definitely the best Metallica album out there, I wouldn't say I like this as I don't think the lead singer has a great voice, but they did make some decent songs, most notable here are "The Unforgiven" and "Enter Sandman".
In terms of quality and enjoyability this album is far better than "Master Of Puppets" which was quite boring, the singing was awful and just too loud to enjoy.
Overall a good attempt from Metallica but sadly their only good album.
If you took all the Yoko Ono songs off of this album then I would say this is amazing but she’s just on too many songs, she’s not awful, she’s just really uninteresting on her own.
Anyway, some of the songs on here (By John Lennon) are amazing with my favourite being "Just Like Starting Over", very, very good song probably the best song he ever wrote in his entire career as all the best Beatles songs are written by Paul McCartney.
Marvin Gaye is one of the greatest artists of all time, is this album bad???
No, definitely not bad... Well from track 4 - 8 anyway.
Yes, tracks 1-4 are exceptionally weird and should never have seen the light of day but they did..... luckily for us "Masochistic Beauty" is very funny, not sure about "Sanctified Lady" though but it does sounds like one of The Weeknd's songs, which I find quite funny because it sums up the majority of The Weeknd's song writing and ... read more
A very clever album from Queen with most of the songs running into each other, this is my joint highest rated Queen album with the other being "A Day at the Races".
Although no song is bad here, everything feels way less interesting than "Seven Seas of Rhye" which is the very last track on the album.....
Idk it's good but not exceptional.
I don't necessarily like Nirvana but this album is decent but the only problem is that there are to many mediocre songs keeping this from a higher rating, most notable "Polly" and "Endless/Nameless" those songs just totally kill the listening experience for me.
But..... the good songs make it worthwhile....
Anyway, I think this is a fairly decent album from Nirvana and a lot of people will enjoy it :)
This is probably the greatest live album out there, sensational.
Edit: Just listened to this all night, had it on from roughly 6:30 pm and it’s 10:43pm now and I’m still listening, it is simply that good, heavenly voice, great selection of songs all delivered beautifully.
Sam Cooke’s performance here is breathtakingly good.
100/100, perfect.
Another edit:
I also find it really interesting that they didn't release this until 1985 as they though it would hurt Sam ... read more
This is the only album that makes you wish you were an American prisoner in the 1960’s.
I wonder if anyone deliberately tried to go to jail after this album released…..
I actually thought this album was pretty boring to be fair but the song "Munich" is easily on of the best songs of the 2000's, some other songs were decent but yeah not great to be honest.
Creedence Clearwater Revival’s debut album, it’s not amazing but it does have a few good songs, the only song I don’t like that much is “Suzie Q”, far too long and uninteresting.
My favourites are “I put a spell on you”, “Gloomy” and “Walk On Water”.
A decent album from one of the best bands.
Snoop Dogg’s debut album and his best one he ever released, it’s not amazing as his lyricism is pretty repetitive and boring at times and I really can’t stand the lady of rage rapping, should’ve just featured Nate Dogg and Warren G a little more.
Its a good album but far from amazing
Before I joined this site I would always say that this is one of the best rap albums of all time but when you start reviewing more and more albums in that genre then you realise that what 50 Cent did on get rich or die tryin wasn't really special.
He's just repetitively rapping over incredible beats made by Dr. Dre, very reminiscent of Snoop Dogg's "Doggystyle" from 1993.
I have listened to this hundreds of times and I don't even have a favourite song to be ... read more
This is the best album from The Weeknd, the only thing keeping this from a 90+ is the fact that it peaks at track 8, then it get's insanely boring until less than zero (track 15).
My least favourite songs are "Best Friends" , "Starry Eyes" and "I Heard You're Married"
Not a lot going on there, just bang average album filler songs and having and artist like Lil Wayne on a Pop album is not a great idea, it's not really a great idea to have him on a ... read more
Although the album may have a few weaknesses, songs like "Across The Universe", "The Long and Winding Road", "Get Back" and arguably one of the greatest songs of all time, "Let It Be" still make this a very enjoyable album that is always worth revisiting.
Starboy.....hmmmm, Not a lot needs to be said about this one, the only positive about Starboy is that it is The Weeknd's last bad album, the album never really gets going at any stage.
Songs like false alarm, true colors, six feet under, ordinary life and even sidewalks are just very irritating to me, The Weeknd is better than these terrible tracks.
Only essentials in my opinion:
I Feel It Coming
A Lonely Night
A little step up from Beauty Behind The Madness but not by much.
Undoubtedly the best pop album of all time, Starts crazy with "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" and ends slowly with "Lady In My Life", a true masterpiece which is difficult to put into words.
WThrillerORDS.
Michael Jackson's "Off The Wall" is one of the best albums of the seventies, Unbelievable vocal performance, insane production.
Truly a genre bending masterclass and far ahead of it's time.
How can you go wrong with a combination of Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, Rod Temperton, Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney?
Essential Tracks??? All of them.
Arguably more enjoyable than Thriller, although they are both perfect.
Another inconsistent mess of an album from Queen, 2 songs are good, most of the others are boring with the worst being "The Prophet Song" that has to be one of the worst songs of all time, so painful to listen to.
It's loud and all over the place.
