Relistened enough times i think i'll give my proper in-depth thoughts.
'Midnights' is a mess. Gone is the folkier, more alternative stylings of 'Folklore', 'Evermore' and the vault tracks of 'Taylor's Version', in place for what feels like a combination of her three pop oriented albums. Unfortunately, this doesn't mean that it's all that good.
I'll preface by saying that i love a lot of Taylor's pop. I think '1989' and 'Lover' are pretty strong albums, if flawed in some areas.

I loved this so much!! Some of the best pop music of 2022 imo, even if the second half of the album is a little less consistent than the first. Just some catchy, well-produced indie pop that is perfectly to my taste!

Huh.
While the vocals sometimes got on my nerves, the production of this album is more than enough to make up for that- it's beautiful. Isn't Lil Yachty a rapper anyways? This was a weird 180, but i loved it (for the most part, some songs in the first half didn't impress me).
Favorite Song(s): the BLACK seminole., running out of time, THE zone~, WE SAW THE SUN!, drive ME crazy!, IVE OFFICIALLY LOST ViSiON!!!!, The Alchemist, REACH THE SUNSHINE.
About two months late lol but damn this was great, the transitions between the folkier part of the song to the more trap oriented part is great-
