Putting the disgusting, ableist and incendiary film aside, these songs just aren’t good.

Sia has always had a very polarising career to me. She has great songs like Chandelier and Dusk till Dawn, but also never released a good album. She also wrote Boy Problems from Carlys Emotion, which is a great song. But also wrote lots of songs from Britney Jean, which were mostly terrible.

But these are just bad, patronising, out-of-touch and forgettable. Even the songs with the better melodies, have intensely patronising lyrics, and I would be incredibly uncomfortable if I was part of the community being subjected to this, but instead I feel uncomfortable for them.

I have so many questions, but she’s not really worth anybody’s time of day.
