Pretty strong album especially coming from a project that’s been putting out music for over 30 years at this point. Probably the most experimental instrumentation in the entire NIN catalog, but I like the direction it was heading in
SoundCloud CLASSIC. Ski really started to hit his stride here
Some riffs are good, but there’s more than a few really cringe (for lack of a better word) songs, especially Ride the Lightning. Let it go man. Instrumentation sounded pretty cool sometimes tho, even if it seemed really standard to the sound that’s already been established for the last 30+ years
It’s fine. I get it if you like Peggy’s signature sound, but for me this song doesn’t do much. I feel like it doesn’t go anywhere except the end, where it just feels like a throwaway from his last album. I still got faith tho; Leanbeefpatty was the lead single of STH and it was also my least favorite song off the album so maybe it’ll get better?
Kind of got overshadowed by GKMC dropping very soon after this, but overall still a very good project with some really catchy songs and strong messages throughout
