havent stopped listening since the night it came out: album of the year
probably his most complicated album to review as its alllll over the fucking place, but the sentiment is gold and although there's definitely weak points, so much of this album is fantastic. i still remember watching youtube recordings of the listening parties when i was 14. would've been a great way to end off at

i get a lot of value out of this album, people tend to write this off because it's his most commercially successful album even though its his darkest. damn is about damnation and the end of the world. how is that not fucking cool. feel, dna, fear, duckworth, i could go on. really really special
this is better than i thought it would be, drake and future have really good chemistry and i like how they contrast each other. drakes melodic singing mixed with futures style of rapping shouldnt work but it does. diamonds dancing is a really interesting and unique song, i love the dark vibe it has and its easily the highlight of the album. some of the metro beats kinda sleepy though and that makes some parts of the album a bit boring. i like how drake AND future have a lot of presence, it ... read more
