Right off the bat I should mention that for some reason I got Cranberries vibes from some of the tracks and I'm not sure why. I guess this singer reminded me of Dolores O'Riordan. (God rest her soul) That being said, I should mention that Faye Wong has a beautiful voice and it floats atop these dreamy instrumentals. Even if I can't understand what she's saying I can hear that performance coming through those melodies and I can't help being sold on it. My critique comes in when I mention that some of these songs are quite forgettable to me and the album kind of stays in one lane and doesn't really veer too much outside of the lines. Other than that this was a pleasant listen and I could see myself using some of these songs in a playlist for relaxation.
