Jagwar Ma - Every Now & Then
Nov 4, 2016

Jagwar Ma's sophomore record finds the band following two directions at the same time, backwards and forward. It's like they want to evolve their sound but at the same time they can't let go what they've done before. It's great because their songs still have that bouncy and ambient feel to it, however you end up having the same thing over and over again. When we get to "O B 1", you've already listened at least three songs that have the same vibe or very similar. It's not a bad record, it's pleasant to the ears but it's nothing that I would play on repeat all the time. I'm kinda meh about it.

Fav tracks: Say What You Feel, O B 1, Colours of Paradise.
Least fav track: Loose Ends.
