After a 5 year hiatus that took place in the worst years of Selena's life, I wasn't expecting a groundbreaking body of work, but at least a decent album. This album was clearly made for streaming playlists, and I noticed a similar structure in many of its songs. It got old quickly.
When I learned that Rare had 39 credited writers for only 13 tracks and not that many features or samples I was worried about the album.
