Thanks to the contributions of Pop songwriters and producers, most notably Jack Antonoff, Gaslighter has more crossover appeal than any The Chicks album ever. 14 years have passed yet Natalie Maines never fails to have you shouting along with her, calling out Earls in their most aggressive songs.

This record noticebly has many ballads, and just because it follows a divorce theme, it doesn't mean that all songs have to be in-your-face. It is that vulnerability that makes it even more special. ... read more

It just doesn’t seem like she’s having fun or this is the album she wants to release. She only “returned to Pop” to please her fans, who have been begging for an album of “bussy bops” since the release of the mediocre ARTPOP.

About
I rate albums from 0 to 20, so the only possible scores are 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, ..., 5*n, ..., 95, 100 where n = 0, ..., 20

I tend to change scores periodically until I'm 100% sure I made the right decision. I think we have the right to re-evaluate albums as many times as possible.
