Slipknot Vol. 3 is certainly not as good as their previous albums, but that doesn't take away from it being a great album.
One of the things that I like more about this album is that I think that the vocal performance is probably the best so far. I think the more subdued Corey Taylor is, the heavier certain songs hit, and that may be one of the reasons why some of their previous songs didn't stick with me.
However, this album isn't as memorable as their other two. For Self Titled and Iowa, I can remember a lot of the songs, but for this one it's only a handful. But that doesn't take away from it being a really enjoyable experience.
One thing I would like to mention is that Vermilion 2 should have been moved to be the final track. Not that anything after it was bad, just that The Nameless was a terrible follow up and I don't see either of the others being any better.
