Steve Lacy is an artist that I always knew had the potential to make a fully realized body of work, but has not been able to reach that mark until now. Talk about summer vibes. This album is filled with bubbly, funky neo soul tunes that echo through my ears and makes me feel like I'm lying under an evergreen tree, nodding my head as the gentle summer breeze blankets me. Bad Habit and Mercury are my favorites from this album and it just keeps getting better and better with each listen. Good job, Steven!
