It's crazy to think this album is over 20 years. It feels very vivid and dreamy in a way that aged incredibly well and makes the album feel so timeless just from a first listen. The layers of melodies are simple but soothing. The slow simplicity of the music adds to the dreamy feel. It provides a level of comfort that is hard to describe with just words so here's a bunch of numbers 19384547892031482975346392765489506787463 decipher it if you want idc. "Svefn-g-englar" has quickly become a shoegaze favorite of mine, it's just absolutely mesmerizing to listen to and the artistic heaviness and beauty of it is unmatchable.
This is some of the music ever and I highly recommend it to anyone with an hour to spare.
