Yes, I'm also still reviewing projects I'm interested in that are recent projects, lile this one.
Illinois rapper Earl Sweatshirt is back after his most critically acclaimed album yet, 'Some Rap Songs'. This record contained lo-fi production and great sampling, catchy flows, but most importantly, the breathtaking lyrical department.
This record is a short, well-rounded, and charming EP, with great lo-fi production, additctive flows and some really great lyricism Earl really creates some mesmerizing yet beautiful music. With a run-time of just over 15 minutes, Earl delivers a lovely abstract and experimental hip hop experience. There are some production choices I don't really agree with though.
In short this EP is pretty good, but it's not amazing either because of those production choices that don't sit right with me.
