This album was my first exposure to Fever 333, who sound like a modern day version of early Linkin Park since some parts feel like they could be in Meteora or The Hybrid Theory.
As the only negative are the bland and often cringe-inducing lyrics but the band's clear passion for their music and the agressive sound make up for it. The songs get me pumped up which increases the score a lot for me, after all i'm rating based on personal enjoyment.
Gnash takes a more acoustic style to his debut album which doesn't work out as well i hoped it to. The common theme in the album's songs are relationships and loneliness but every song sounds kinda the same.
This is the first piece of new music i have experienced from 2019 so far and i found it pleasant. I think this is better than his 2018 s/t album since it has fewer quest vocalists. It's a coherent EP that sounds exactly like it's album cover.
