This is the most "great" album I know. It's great. That's about it though. I hate all of the tiktok kids though that claim Kendrick Lamar and this album sucks.
How is JID still so underrated bro i don't get it. When I first listened to this album it was like an 8/10, but after listening to it more and more I loved it even more. This has become a no-skip album for me EXCEPT the one with Don T. JID my goat <3
Half of the songs in this mixtape are some of my favorite Lil Darkie songs OAT
The other half I really don't care for..
This album was the first Lil Darkie album I listened to and I'm really glad it was my introduction to him. It's a great album with a versatile mix of rap songs, metal songs, and chill songs. Some of my favorite Lil Darkie songs come from this album.
This album is a mixed bag for me. Some really good songs, some really weak ones.
Honestly the songs added in the deluxe version are all way better than in the original release.
It definitely has an important message and I respect that a lot, but it definitely comes at the price of quality. Half of these songs are genuinely unlistenable and the rest are OK at best with the exception of the first 2 songs.
This album is basically no gimmicks or anything. Just honest, really good rapping over chill, sick beats.
definitely my favorite kendrick album. I fucking love all of the songs AND I love the story. Most songs I listen to I honestly don't gaf about lyrics, but this album sticks out to me as one where the story and message actually matters toward my opinion.
There's only two songs in this album that are skips for me and even those songs are like solid 6/10s lmfao, and the songs that aren't skips are genuinely perfect.
I'd argue this is the best rap album of the 2020s so far
This is easily his best album/LP/mixtape.
Literally half of the songs in this album are perfect 10/10s imo. While so many Lil Darkie songs talk about drugs and edgy political or dark shit, this album actually covers a variety of vulnerable and sometimes exciting topics.
If I was being OBJECTIVE, it's probably more like an 8.5/10, but I just love him and this album so much.
