Great storytelling, doesn’t overstay its welcome and good production.
To me there was nothing particularly special to write about, but this is a cool EP and I recommend it to any fans of jazz-rap fusion.
Chill and relaxing. Wraps you up like a hug from start to finish.
Unfortunately even the highs on this album do not come close to the lows of Oncle Jazz for me.
A good idea that does not deserve its insane 77 minute runtime.
Starts super strong though! Found myself a bit tired of the repetition and formula towards the latter half
A bloated masterpiece. Shame really, chisel away a bunch of mediocre and you’re left with an amazing album.
Radiohead are talked about so often and I still feel like it’s no where near enough. Most stacked discography in the history of music.
I have argued against this album being Radioheads best many times, yet I STILL think it’s 100/100.
It may be some of Clantons weaker work, but it’s still Clanton
An undeniable genre crossing masterpiece filled with memorable features and zero misses.
Even with one of the most impressive musical careers of all time, Plastic Beach is to me Damon Albarns true legacy.
Groovy psychedelic jams
One of my most listened to albums of all time and very important in my formative music years
Unfortunately this is one of the only stains on Daft Punks almost perfect legacy.
Whilst I do enjoy some of the album, and as a die hard fan I’m always happy to listen to any Daft Punk, I can’t help but admit it’s just very very rushed.

However, when the tracks here ... read more
Starts incredibly strong with a beautiful run of songs up until the title track, where I feel the album starts to drop off fairly heavily. Unfortunate seeing as a more consistent quality could have made this a must listen in my eyes.
I will say though that it can be slightly predictable at times, it’s very pretty and very easily listening but there’s not exactly anything new going on.
Still highly recommend!
Listening to this always makes me think Laufey definitely knows more about love than I do.
For my money this is the jazz/bossa nova artists best work to date. I believe Laufey really does have the potential to release a perfect 10 album, she just has to keep going and keep innovating her sound.
I go back and forth between this and In Rainbows being my favourite Radiohead album.
Kid A is almost a tough listen sometimes. Haunting, thought provoking and so so human. The emotional vulnerability on this album is unmatched.
When people say that Radiohead are a “depressing” band, I wonder if they have ever let themselves really drop their guard down and work to empathise with the emotions portrayed on this album. Kid A feels like such a complicated look into the nature of ... read more
