This album is raw, too raw.
Transilvanian Hunger is *technically* the first black metal album I've listened to, and I really wish I could've liked this more.
It has very lo-fi production, but it's in a way that makes all the instruments sound muddy and indistinguishable from each other.

Well, 200 albums. (I MESSED UP) What a milestone (THAT I ALREADY GOT TO). There's not much to say about that.
This is clearly their magnum opus. It's clear to see that even now, they found their style and have not changed drastically. This album resonated with me too fucking much. I knew it was going to be sad, but this was SAD.
Apparently this was my 200th album and I'm glad it was because what the fuck.
This is why I stopped making shoegaze with VSTs, too many sweats.

I didn't really enjoy this album.
I listened to Mind/Body/Light/Sound and really enjoyed it so I went into this with decently high expectations. Unfortunately, this album was an absolute chore for me to listen to. Almost every song sounds the same with little difference so a lot of this went in and out of my ear. It just felt like every track was Mind/Body/Light/Sound, but worse and I'm sure if I didn't listen to it beforehand I wouldn't even think of it as a standout.
