This is fucking atrocious. Jon Brion's Symphonic esque production bullshit doesn't work in the slightest. It's consistently tacky and mixed WAY TOO LOUD. I swear the mix on this sounds like my stomach after a one night stand with taco bell. It sounds hideous. Fuck these damn hipsters for starting the "bEtTeR ThAn tHe OfFiCaL vErSiOn" bullshit. Suck My Extraordinary Cock. Kengoji DISAPPROVES!

The Sorority Migos are back with a drawn-out project full of... indie pop? I can't really tell what genre this would classify under. Maybe? NOTHING MUSIC! Credit to @TreyLikesBands for probably coining that term. Anyways, Kengoji Doesn't Approve! Check this out if you want to waste your time.

“Hide your kids hide your wife. Klô Pelgag is gonna make you cry.”

Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs is an island/village in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region of Quebec. It's hard to believe a place like this still exists in the modern world. An independent village with a population that's less than 100 people is unheard of in a first world country. Yet, its a place that feels so important in the grand scheme of things. It's untouched by the sin and perversion of the modern world. ... read more

Oh Mr. Lerche, why is your catalog so damn all over the place? Pleasant folk and jazz-pop to Vulnerable Noise Pop, like where is this dude going to go next? Well, it's quite a departure from his previous work. Yearning Indietronica with influences from every side of the pop music world. May I add that this record is stomach-churning. Lerche's ability to tell simple yet engaging stories is in full effect. But, these lyrics are frankly disgusting at points. Especially on the second track. I ... read more

I know everyone has talked their heads off about this record but I want to give a smol opinion on this very fascinating record.

My relationship with Ms. Apples’ music is very simple. I love all her projects, especially Extraordinary Machine (hot take lol). So I didn't expect anything less than great.

At first, I thought this album was pretty good but humdrum at points and extremely scatterbrain, and those descriptors still apply (with a negative connotation). But after many more ... read more

Baxter is getting with the young people! The Mentally Unstable 20 Somethings! Clearly this will work out perfectly with no hiccups ANDDDDD it did? The same old heartbreak is there but it's expected. So all Baxter gains from this are melatonin sticks, frank ocean, and finding the bloke that stole his bike forever. The last thing will sadly never happen... what a shame.

"The first time I listened to this album in full was about six hours after release due to me having a morning shift at the pool I work at. As background noise while cleaning the deck, making sure everything was organized, and basically focusing on anything but the music, I thought it sounded pretty hype, and overall had a pretty positive experience with it. Good flows, very clean beats and production... I was having a good time. When I got home, I decided to listen to this album again, this time more focused on the music... ...and that's when I realized how fucking boring this really is at it's core. If an album is more enjoyable as background music than it is when you're actually investing in listening to it on your own time, it's kind of a failure. Culture 3 has some decent tracks, but I think it falls flat in original ideas and overall being kind of a slog through most of it's runtime. Can't say I enjoyed this as much as I was hoping to. :/ "
