This album is kind of dumb as hell but it's so incredibly fun and I absolutely love it. That's just what The Clash does and that's why they're one of my favorite bands.
Honestly, I didn’t like Cave World, but this is one of the best punk records I’ve heard in recent years, and it’s definitely the most fun I’ve had listening to an album in 2025.
I start classes for my jazz piano degree in 2 weeks, and to “prepare” I want to listen to a classic jazz piano album every day. Since I am a certified Bill Evans digger I figured I'd start with “Everybody Digs Bill Evans” (yeah i probably should have started with Village Vanguard but this title was more fun)

I find Vampire Weekend albums generally pleasant to listen to, objectively very good, but aside from a few songs they don’t really do anything for me. The only song I see myself intentionally coming back to often is A-Punk (a genuinely spectacular track) An overall decent record but not one that will stick with me.
I had heard Mother was bad but boy! was I not ready for just how bad it truly is. Only bad track on the record.
