Obviously since it is a compilation, it isn’t entirely cohesive, but still, it doesn’t have the extreme musical shift of many other compilations and is generally pretty cohesive musically. I got heaven is a realllyy good album. This is one of very few albums that I waited up to listen to right as it came out. I do really like the push and pull of the songs, between softer and more gentle/delicate sound of “nothing like”, “I don’t know you” etc. and the louder more rageful sound if “OK?OK!OK?OK!”, or “I got heaven”. Some very nice noises in this album, the lyrics of some of the songs are very interesting about the devine and god, the reality of being human. Some of the songs can be a little lacking tho. overall good album. Favorite tracks: stackfucker love, 180, and Flesh and bone

Genuinely one of my favorite albums, super obsessed with A Giant Dog right now. It feel like exactly what it’s meant to achieve, a reckless teenage album about just random shit. Love it. Also has a super rad album cover.
