sonically good, just strange and a bit boring lyrically/conceptually

one of my favourite kanye records, its emotional impact may be overestimated because of my personal connection to it but i think it's great.

jimmy cooks is an 85 that brings this 3 to near a 4 overall

good album, their best.

first two songs are close to 10's and the rest is a consistent 6-7. decent.

on acid this is a 10, without its an 8, so it's a 9.

just as epic and beautiful as it is emotionally devastating whilst containing a glimpse of optimism, one of the best this year.

this is truly something special, incredibly impactful, can't stop coming back to be emotionally destroyed and subsequently uplifted by its beauty.

gets better with every listen, much like the singles did for me. has several of my top ten songs of the year in an 11 song album. every artistic decision that i questioned on first listen make more sense and are more appreciated with every listen, in my top 3 albums of this year easily, might even be aoty for me.
