Sweetener is Ariana Grande's most creative, colorful and unique album to date. It features some of her best singles ever as well as some of her most personal and intimate music. The record is a healing experience that feels very uplifting, even if it has a deep meaning behind it. Everything about this is an evolution in comparison to her previous works. The lyrics are better and more personal, the production is way more polished and fun and her vocals sound heavenly in every song. The tracklist ... read more

Dangerous Woman shows a more sexy and free side of Ariana and despite having some weak moments on the tracklist, it’s pretty enjoyable for the most part. The album is full of great pop songs with excellent hooks and an amazing vocal performance from Grande. Production wise, the songs aren’t anything special or unique but they’re well done and, even though the project overall lacks a bit of cohesion, they go well together. I think the main problem here is that the lyrics are ... read more

My Everything is Ariana's first big commercial attempt and even though she or her label got the success they aimed for, the album feels more like a compilation of trendy songs made for the radio. It’s by far her most inconsistent record to date and also the one that has aged the most. I think this is an album ... read more

My Agenda finds Dorian Electra taking more risks with their sound, and even though it's not always successful, it has some great highlights. It's really interesting how they manage to incorporate common genres like edm, dubstep, synthpop, rock and even a bit of metal into this type of glitchy electronic production with distorted vocals. For the most part, that mix works very well but at points I feel like the sound starts to get a little too heavy and messy. I'm also not a big fan of the ... read more

In preparation for Ariana's new album coming this month, I’ll be reviewing her discography. I’m a huge fan of hers but I’ll try to be as unbiased as possible lol. Yours Truly is a sweet debut album that has its moments but overall it’s very immature. I think the production is pretty immaculate with the exception of the last two tracks and her range is showcased really well but the themes she explores here feel very generic and vague. It’s her debut so I guess ... read more

Very cool! I'm glad I could bring in a less America-centric dad perspective. All dads of the world should be included here.

Okay so I've never solicited for a list before, but I had an extra obnoxious idea and I wanted to get other people to contribute to me being obnoxious.

What album makes you think of your dad?

I'm so happy you did! And thank you for checking it out! If you're curious about more of my solo work I could send links to my two most recent singles?
