The groove is impeccable, and with the added psych sounds, it sounds really cool
Stampede is just The Dream by Thee Oh Sees but Jazz. Though it's not a bad thing, this song slaps.
And the mountain pass is proberly one of the best songs on the album, just a jam with riff and melody that are brainworms.

Song is fun while straggling between the sounds from their previous records and the sound that would be perfected on The Old World. Because of this there are songs on the album that outshines it
The aviator is pretty cool, feeding into the groove of the album. Dash Tapper is interesting, taking a heavier approach but it defiantly feels like a B side

Are the Picks for ARIA SOTY Good? - Mostly Not, most of them are mediocre with a couple trash and a couple jems.
Were there better picks for ARIA SOTY?- Definitely! even in the Nominees for the best music videos there are better songs such as GTFO by Genesis Owusu and Hertz by Amyl and the Sniffer.
