self antagonism acts mostly as a normal run of the hill Nishith release with it's experimental hyperpop influences infused with elements from other experimental music mediums. Some run of the mill lyrics for Nishith which mean they're nothing too special but not bad by any means. The delivery is also very typical for this artist, the monotone esc delivery soaked in editorial changes and manipulations to better fit the instrumental, and I think it works again here. One thing that is very interesting and fun about this track though is the fact that it comes back with full force after a short interlude in the middle of the track. Where it could have easily fizzled out and ended around the 2:20 mark it comes back for one last large run of a verse with bass boosted and heavy production to back up the energy. And I like this, seeing Nishith experiment with his song structure is great and excited me for future releases of his especially if he's trying new things at all. Overall, this is an above average release by Nishith who already releases some quality music. Light 9
