While I was a little skeptical and confused with the concept of Kevin being the only member on this album, took a few articles and social media stalking to see the bigger picture; I can't even imagine how gut-wrenching this whole scenario is to go through. Your band is pretty much done, but with contractual obligations to fulfil, you take on the task to represent the whole band and solo the "final" album to finish not just the contracts, but the band itself.
Each song telling the narrative on everything happening, especially the juicy deets since the RCA contract is what really made the album such a different listening experience to anything I've ever heard. This is probably the first album I've listened to throughout that had a solid, time-relevant and deeply personal concept that I clung to each word from Kevin's mouth. And to all end with the Brockhampton track, damn 😢
Wasn't a massive fan, but will definitely miss the band and the dynamic each member had with their music.
