Robert Ashley - Automatic Writing
When I was new to this site, I struggled to from my opinion in music.
I dislike being judged by people because people tend to be very judgemental even though music should be subjective. Even worse the black n white pfp " elitism" brought nihilism to music which its a very horrible thing. Not saying that their music taste are bad, their top albums are way too identical. There is no logic that you have the same amount of enjoyment of a single album, unless you are lured by the devil. ... read more

Takagi Masakatsu - かがやき (Kagayaki)
It seems like I’m finally back reviewing but not really.
My life has been extremely busy and tough due to the massive amount of stress from exams.
As I was not able to spend time listening and discovering music because I don’t have the time and energy to do that anymore. Since everyone is going back to school and work, I doubt people are able to spend more time on their hobbies, interests etc. I also took a huge hiatus from music because I didn't enjoy it for a period of time . I'm ... read more
Arditti String Quartet / Dawn Upshaw - Arnold Schoenberg 2: Streichquartette I-IV
After listening multiple times, I still don't get it.
You need a god complex to understand this because man this album is not enjoyable.
Kendrick Lamar - Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers
Spoiler: if you liked this album just don't read it, you won't like it.
It's my honest thoughts about the new Kendrick Album.

The Downfall of Kendrick Lamar

It may not seems like this on AOTY but on Rateyourmusic this album kept dropping I was in school when the album dropped now its 3.59 as I’m writing this review when its less than 3.5 its not bloated consider as a divisive release from proclaim the greatest rapper of all time, so I’m very concern what this album ... read more

Klaus Schulze - Irrlicht
Rest In Peace Klaus Schulze, you will be missed

One of the pioneers of electronic music, music would not be the same without the Germans. Released in 1972, truly ahead of anyone else even Kraftwerk haven't started making their first fully electronic album "Autobahn". Post war Germany after the rise and fall of Nazis truly struggled to find identity in society separating Germany into West Germany and East Germany, it had a difference their financial situation.

Why is this so ... read more

Autechre - Amber
Autechre discography binge part 2

Autechre proving themselves they could stand out in the crowd as a true unique one to do it but unfortunately they didn't fully succeed here. Sure, I find this album more enjoyable than Incunabula its has more interesting production and atmosphere. But the weakness still remains on this album, the second half is where quality starts to drop off significantly and the album starts to drag way too much. Some of the production choices does overstay its welcome ... read more
Orbital - Orbital 2
I apologize for having an inconsistent and irregular reviewing schedule.
I'm having a tough and busy schedule that limits my time listening to music significantly.
I'm sorry.

Here is an album I have been listening a lot recently is Orbital The Brown Album.
Still kinda shocked that not many people has actually listens to Orbital in music circles or even talked about that much. So I am going to do a favor and talk about this album and techno as a whole.

Techno is a subgenre of electronic ... read more

Autechre - Incunabula
Autechre discography binge part 1

I was left with massive disappointment as the first half was great but the second half is generally very hard sit through because its very boring and how dated the album sounds. Obviously early Autechre took huge influence from Aphex Twin, LFO and Orb. To the say least, Autechre haven't found their signature sound yet, with some tracks like "Bike" and "Bronchus 2" shows massive signs of potential that the band would achieve greatness. But ... read more

Bathory - Under the Sign of the Black Mark
Bathory is no stranger to metal fans as one of the pioneers of black metal.
While Bathory was far from the only band that was doing very dark and satanic music, but Bathory had the most impact on black metal in general influencing the second wave Norwegian black metal scene as black metal started to gain massive popularity and expand outside the roots.

Bathory band history from start to end is a one man project by Thomas Börje Forsberg aka Quorthon.
Starting out with their self titled ... read more

Scott Walker - The Drift
Yeah I prefer this album more than The Tilt.
Scott Walker is slowly becoming one of my favourite singer-songwriter of all time.
His songwriting is very entertaining and gives a lot to the listeners.
While Scott Walker entire career is kinda spotty. He started out very strong with his 60s baroque pop releases with an ominous and playful characteristics I prefer his experimental works more because its way more entertaining listening to it. Took me a while getting into his experimental works, but ... read more
Nico - Desertshore
What an album to end the month.

The 1970s was one of the most influential and impactful decade of music. After the spike of music creativity in the late 60s as bands like The Velvet Underground. Talking about The Velvet Underground you have definitely heard about this woman named Nico. Nico was a polarizing music figure, after their commercial failure but also groundbreaking collab album "The Velvet Underground & Nico." Nico left TVU and worked on her solo career. Although Nico ... read more

"@Caligula I heard the album, its really horrible in my opinion, this band is ripping off Talking Heads yet not adding anything interesting to the album. I find many of the songs being so testing patient, really poor song structures and everything else on the album are doing the bare minimum or just failing miserabely. And the album has been out in my country for a while, its a timezone difference"
