*NOT AN ACTUAL REVIEW*

I have a new rating system in the works (see on my profile), & I think that this one might make more sense going forward. This means also that I'll only be rating things in increments of 5, because it's irritating seeing my highest score only be an 84, which isn't really in much a realm of difference from an 81 (& I love the 84s way more). This rating system will only affect my higher-rated albums, or albums with actually great songs on them, so don't worry, I'm ... read more

Green Day's "¡DOS!" is a painfully mediocre & overproduced slog to get through, especially at its most overproduced & stale moments. But there are alright moments on here, & it's not like I hate or even think most of these songs are bad, except for the weird genre pivot that I'll get to at some point in this review (if you know you KNOW).

"See You Tonight" is a short 1-minute acoustic track in the vein of "Song of the Century", & it's okay. ... read more

A shorter review for a change of pace (maybe I don't know what how much I'm gonna write here):

Tool's "Ænima" packs its runtime w/ rhythmically interesting & catchy-as-hell grooves & riffs, as well as some really great vocals from Maynard James Keenan, whether they're distorted or not. When it comes to the groove, pretty much all of these tracks bring a lot to the table in terms of making the album absolutely hypnotic to listen to. Tracks like "Stinkfist", ... read more

Damn this album's kinda great, I really did this one dirty (OG score=7.3/10). Also, first review of 2021 & it's 16 days in, NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!

"A Saucerful of Secrets" is the sophomore album in Pink Floyd's discography, as well as the last to include Syd Barrett, who only contributes his vocals to the final track (although he plays guitar on others). This is also the first w/ guitarist & vocalist David Gilmour, who'd be in the band for the rest of their ... read more

"KIDS SEE GHOSTS" is a short & consistently fantastic set of bangers that're slightly psychedelic as well. It's definitely shaping up to be my favorite Kanye album, as I don't think there's anything else in his discography as stellar ("808's & Heartbreak" comes close).

"Feel The Love" starts with a simple synth riff with Kid Cudi's reverb-heavy refrain before going into a braggadocious & short Pusha-T verse. But at about the 1 minute mark, it goes into ... read more

Ah yes, Asking Alexandria. If Black Veil Brides dominated the first part of my emo phase, Asking Alexandria dominated the rest of it, mainly with this album & their sophomore album "Reckless & Relentless". Because of their music, I came to really like this style of metalcore during that time. When it comes to my opinion on this album now, it definitely hasn't aged the best. The breakdowns are all guitar, some fast drumming, & pretty much no bass (or I'm just bad at picking ... read more

Hi, I am here with a question:
If all album covers were edible, which album would you choose to eat?
and yes, this is for a list.

Ah right, my bad. Should've seen your rating distribution first. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hey there! What is an album that you've given a 100 score, and why so?

Simple explanations are fine enough, but detailed reasoning is of course welcome. If you have multiple 100s, then just pick one of them as your answer. It's for a list by the way. Thanks in advance, and have a great day!

2020 has been a huge roadblock, a year that a lot of people would want to forget. Filled with hardships and pain. As this year is coming to a close, I wanted to ask a question for a list. What song would you listen to, to end the year off entirely? It can either be a send-off song, or a song that you would listen to in high hopes for 2021. Hope I'm not bothering, and if you respond, thanks for the help!
