Undoability Ruby is the best solo work from any of the Blackpink Girlies. When it comes to developing one's unique voice and style Jennie just has a knack for nailing down each era perfectly. For a debut project, this is a fantastic record. Ruby is a good blend of popular sounds of pop and RnB, with a mixture of experimental mixing and production in there that makes Jennie sound like a seasoned soloist. It's confident and catchy and goes to show why she has been considered the it girl of the K-pop industry for so many years now. Although all of the Blackpink girls have the talent and experience to make it in the Western market, Jennie is the one who has the musical chops to flip the industry on its head fairly quickly. Overall Ruby is a fantastic showing for Jennie and is an album I can see myself listening to for a long time to come.
