QWERTY is still her best work.

Not a big fan of her whispering singing voice and something about the production makes some of the songs sound a bit jarring, but the melodies in this album will suck you in. I got to say I didn't expect that one of the songs (That's My Floor) would remind me of Regurgitator's music, nice surprise.

Favorites: Image, Death & Romance, Watching T.V., That's My Floor, Angel on a Satellite, The Ballad of Matt & Mica.

I love me some folktronica but yeah, this definitely leans more towards ambient which I struggle to get into. Just not my thing.

Favorite song: Reminiscence.

Damn, I was expecting some kind of artpop/baroque pop album judging by the cover. Fine, the album cover not matching the music is not the end of the world as long as I like the songs. I really tried but Hot to Go is terrible, genuinely one of the most annoying songs I've ever heard. I don't get the hype.

Songs like Coffee, Picture You, Kaleidoscope and California, while not being as bombastic as Hot to Go, are as equally bothersome. I just hate songs that sound like that, regardless ... read more
