This is a really good record with some great composition. The electronic elements really bring the Bon Iver sound out
They keep flopping. And flopping. And flopping. There's no cutting room floor for them, which breeds mediocrity.
Everything but Ludens is amazing and worth the listen. I didn't know I needed Oli on an anime intro song, but I do now (KINGSLAYERRRRRRRRRRRR)
Everything. Is. Long. Some of the songs are fine that way, and the ones that aren't are glaringly obvious and suck ass. It's not that it's weird or quirky or creative, it's the 3 minutes of a vocal chop loop on repeat with nothing else going on (HEADFULOFHYENA) that makes this album bad.
Easily underrated for their discography. Even the worst tracks on this album are good
The pop-punk flip is kinda nice, but not every song was *that* good
This album rocks, but everyone kinda forgets about it?
Better than their first album, I like a lot of the production elements thrown in
