This wasn't really for me. It's not the type of folk that I really enjoy. There were a few moments that were more interesting but for the most part it felt too rural. Fav song: Endless Waltz
This is a really beautiful album. I love Mabe's voice, it's so unique. I really like this blending of folk with rock in again a unique way. Fav song: Todo Puede Ser Error
I really enjoyed this album. I'm so glad they're back for another album. Fav song: Makeover
This is so good! The bonus tracks really add to the story telling and the extended version of sunny i really felt like i understood the song better. Fav song: Sunny
This album is really neat. I think it's pretty similar to the following album but maybe a little simpler. Fav song: Virgin
This album is really beautiful. It feels a little less folky than her following albums, I think i prefer that sound on her. Fav song: Angela
I really enjoyed this album. Her voice is so beautiful and her lyrics are pretty witty. I love the folke vibes it's so nice to listen to. Fav song: Biblical Love
I really enjoyed this album. I really like this combination of pop with pretty experimental things. It's interesting to see what she was up to before finding her signature 70s sound. I also love that there's an original version to a song on a later album. Fav song: The Island Song (I never do this but least fav was the boy is mine... like why is she here)
I like the different style of pop in this album and feel like it was executed well. Fav song: Rosemary (I think i was at work and not checking song titles)
I feel like this album kinda lacked the signatures of a u.s. girls album. I felt the disco beats were not there and the backup dancers didn't blend with the music in the way they have the past few albums. Fav song: Tux (Your Body Fills Me, Boo)
I really enjoyed this album. I'm really resonating with this kind of slower, darker, ethereal music as of late. This really fits well into the category, it has this insane intensity to it that really kept me hooked. I think i'm gonna listen further into her catalog. Fav song: Endgames
Another incredible album. The intensity and darkness of this genre is what really gets to me. Fav song: Funeral for My Future Children
This album is so beautiful and dark. It's so intense to listen to and has this air of creepiness around it. Fav song: Evocation
This album is incredible. It is such a raw and powerful display of her emotions. The whole album is super intense emotionally and sonically. Fav song: Spite Alone Holds Me Aloft
I really wanted to like this album but it just didn't click for me. Fav song: I Used to Love Him
This album was alright. It didn't hit the same as Mezzanine, i felt it was a little less experimental and more similar to hip hop. Fav song: Unfinished Sympathy
This is a beautiful album. I love the ambience and electronic elements in the context of this pop record. Fav song: The Flower Called Nowhere
Surprisingly this is my fav melanie album. I like that she dropped the kiddish aesthetic and themes. The music here feels more experimental than her previous work and every once and a while it's actually somewhat good to listen to. Fav song: The Contortionist
