metro boomin and future finally released their long awaited collab album, and it's exactly what everyone hoped for.
great beats, incredible flows, amazing features including travis scott, playboi carti, Rick Ross and even kendrick lamar. overall great energy from everyone on this project, the chemistry between metro and future is just something else.
despite his age future seems to never fall off and always manages to find himself back in his bag where he still shows why he deserves the spot ... read more
Eternal sunshine is ariana grandes 7th and latest studio album.
Personally, following the release of the lead single "yes, and" i was pretty excited for this, as i was expecting a funky, dancey, disco pop album, similar to what "yes, and" sounded like.
That being said, i was fairly disappointed when i realized this album was mostly be slow R&B.
What made my experience with this even less enjoyable, was the way "yes, and" was placed. It felt completely out of ... read more
I dont really know what to say about this, as i dont have that much experience with non vocal music yet. That being said, this album is amazing. I never expected instrumentals alone to hit as hard as this did. The emotions that are being shown just from instrumentals without any vocals is simply unbelievable. Fantastic experience from front to back. That being said, i dont see myself listening to this thing in my free time again, as every song is over 20 minutes long (that doesnt really fit in ... read more
one of my friends put me onto this album when it first came out, and initially, I didn't like it at all. I was new to music and didn't know much about anything. I heard it for the first time and found it pretty boring. still, I decided to come back to it a few months later, after I've seen it everywhere and everyone loving it. that's when it clicked. from start to finish this project is absolutely flawless. amazing lyrics, fantastic production, perfect engineering. it's all in point. the ... read more
edit: 70 --> 80
this album continues to sound super fresh every time I come back to it
for yeat as an artist this album is a massive leap forward. moving away from his rather drugged out numb, monotone style, to a much more sober and real tone. this album suffers from the same issue as all of his previous work, being the fact that it just feels bloated at some points. still, it is nice to see an artist like yeat, that became famous mostly off tik tok actually seems to be willing to evolve ... read more
Edit: 75 --> 65 --> No Rating
i removed my rating due to the fact that im realizing that i just dont know how to feel about this. In addition to this, i feel like any rating i would give this album, would be somewhat biased. Therefore i decided to remove both my rating and my old review. That being said, i still have some thoughts to share on this album.
I think this album isnt actually as bad as everyone says. Sure, it definitely isnt kanyes best work, in fact, it isnt even close to ... read more
Sad how they managed to turn a fantastic sample into a boring, ordinary trap beat, with absolutely zero content or experimentation. Don toliver did alright I guess
WOW this album is good.
I've never heard anything by a Tribe called quest prior to this, and i had this album on my list for a long long time so I decided to give it a shot today. I'm amazed. The production, the features, the writing, everything comes together so well and creates such a dense and cohesive album, it's incredible. I was so sad when it ended, because I really wanted to hear more of this mix of old-school, futuristic type of sound. Altogether, great album with a lot of replay ... read more
Ben shapiro rapping like a robot is the funniest thing I've heard in a long time LOL
I wanted to listen to this for a long time now and finally got to it yesterday. This album features great writing, fantastic production and awesome features aswell. All the songs blend in together very well, redveils delivery hits every single time. My favorite song has to be pg baby, having a beat so good it makes u do the stank face when u first hear it. Overall a super solid project thats definitely worth listening to and id highly recommend doing so.
While theres a TON of different and potentially interesting features on this, the production is awful. From corny piano beats to generic trap beats, this has it all. Apart from that, some of the features feel super forced and the artists just sound super awkward. Had potential but ended up being pretty mid.
You know your ears are cooked when u think ts is hard.
Nah but deadass, this shit is as out of pocket and off the wall as it gets, sampling stuff that really makes you say "nah wtf is this" and makes u go back to " hold up this hard asf" literally one second later. Recently heard LP! and decided to work my way through Peggy's stuff so I ended up on this one, which turned out a lot better than I first thought. Every song is incredibly detailed and executed in the weirdest ... read more
This was my first time listening to a bon iver album i have to say, i did not get disappointed. This is such an interesting and well made album all the way through, and it manages to keep you invested at all times. My personal highlight probably were the rough, and weird sounding drums on deathbreasts. They just sounded so in place while being so weird and unnatural that i makes u just want to hear more. The emotional power this album presents is absolutely fantastic. Also whole lotta red ... read more
Unfortunately listened to this after future nostalgia, which made this sound so much worse than it probably is. This just feels like a massive compilation of a bunch of radio songs with no real replay value. Still, there's some gems under the generic stuff jn this
