Way too repetitive and monotone for me- got exhausting really fast, even if I can acknowledge the good energy here.

While it's not the most jaw-dropping release of the year, it's very charming in its quaint and lush nature

I think I was pleasantly surprised, given how low my expectations were, by some parts in the first half of the album. However, as it went on, songs like Cancelled and their lyrics really started to get to me. Taylor's worst work lyrically, for sure, even if the at times good production helped me recover my the antonoff fatigue.

Whenever there's a magdalena bay release I will be getting chills listening to it

This album’s ambition and confidence would be much more earned had it come later in the band’s career

It feels unfair to compare this to the Forever Story, but almost the entire time I wished I was listening to that. While this is solid, generally more laid back rap album, it's a far cry from the energy, captivating stories, crazy good flows, beat switches, and overall entertainment of his 2022 release.
