Each individual song on this newest album is good. There's great vocals, fun guitar playing, funky base and steady percussion. But after a while, the sound becomes monotonous and each song blends into the next and becomes a weird blob of music. The sound throughout the album is so consistent that it's a boring listen.

Just watered down versions of the original songs from the album. There is no reason for any of this to exist.

UUUgggghhhhh. Drake has released another bloated album, just like Views and More Life. This project is no different than the Culture 2's of the world; releasing a ridiculously long album to troll streams. This time, Drake breaks the project into two discs to try to make it look artistic, but I assure you there is not enough good material on Scorpion to fill one disc.

Side A is the "harder" rap side that is really tough to listen to. Drake comes through with boring flows over stripped ... read more

Albarn strips back a lot of the extra fluff of Humanz for an album that actually sounds like the Gorillaz as opposed to Damon and friends. The tracks flow from funky and upbeat to slow and melancholy. The emotion truly pours through on this release and is enjoyable from front to back with decadent synths all over the place. This feels like a nice return to form and makes me hopeful for this second era of Gorillaz music.

The political lyrics are drowned out by noisy percussion. I was hoping for a more colorful and fast paced album similar to the band's previous album. A bit disappointing when I loved Relatives in Descent so much, but its still listenable.

Very bland take on modern music trends from two artists who have proven that they can do better. A couple bangers, but feels rushed.

Death Grips have continued to explore different sounds with each of their releases, and YOTS is no different. The album sounds fresh while still incorporating all of he different styles explored over their previous albums. Each song brings something new to the table, and each one I find myself enjoying for one reason or another. Death Grips has once again pushed the boundaries for another phenomenal release.

Is this a good album? No. Is it fun? Sure. If you want to turn your brain off and vibe to some great trap production and mindless, repetitive lyrics, this is for you.

The album is not coherent at all, with Julian Casablancas and company exploring many different sounds and facets of the art rock genre. Despite this, I find myself coming back to this album over and over again. The many different sounds make listening to the album a fun journey through many different sound scapes. I definitely prefer certain tracks over others, but the album is a fun listen nonetheless.

The EP is a lot of cheesy indie music. It's very indie. I liked it. Clairo's vocals dance on top of some really fun melodies and make for a good time and a pretty chill listen. That being said, if you're not really into indie music, this will probably not appeal to you. The EP is very hard in its own genre, and even with that doesn't do anything very new or experimental. It is a little rough around the edges, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

It's generic. But it does generic some justice. The hour long run time for sure could have been cut down, but within the album are a couple really fun tracks. I was expecting much worse, but Post came through with a pretty fun album that has come to grow on me much more than I though it would. Its pop music, and its fun. What more could I ask for?
