Split

A split drone ep. The Pillars of Heaven song is my favorite, as it starts as an ambient drone before cascading into some blistering yet airy and melodic noise about halfway through before slowing down and ending where it started. The Joe Breitenback track is a much more straightforward drone track with some bell like synths playing the same few notes for an almost Bull of Heaven-esque effect with some sweeping noises occasionally. Both are great, but I like the Pillars of Heaven one more because of its ambient nature and because I’m a sucker for melodic noise. The other track is still a really psychedelic and hypnagogic drone track with a nice atmosphere.
