There are some interesting ideas here and I really like that peggy is going for something new with the production as opposed to sticking to the EP!/LP! type sound. However, I think that there's a lot about this new single that feels very rough and messy sonically and structurally, and it's another song that I feel is a little bit too short to leave a huge impact. This album feels a lot less intense and heavy compared to their other projects, but personally I don't completely mind and I think this project has its moments. It's a pretty cool project to sort of vibe out a bit to and I love the album's opening track, although I do sort of get how the album's second half may have been slightly disappointing for hardcore Death Grips fans. Personally, I think this album is pretty good.
Oozes of MF DOOM's creativity and cartoonish personality beyond that of his other material, beats are top tier, rapping is top tier, album is top tier.
One thing is that I don't adore the skits/intermissions on this album, just personally feel like they take up space and time on this album and personally I don't feel like they work within this album quite as smoothly as they did on Madvillainy.
Kendrick Lamar WHO??? Jokes aside the project is generic af sure, but I do think that Ice Spice has an okay flow and the tracks are relatively entertaining for its short length. Honestly not nearly as bad as y'all are making this out to be. Sure, she comes with the exact same flow over the exact same beats for 6 songs in a row, but it's a 13 minute EP, I don't think the songs need to be that varied for it to be at least a somewhat enjoyable listen.

I listen to music sometimes. Mostly hip hop but open to other stuff too. Scores mainly just personal enjoyment; there are a lot of albums I deeply respect, but wouldn't personally score highly.
