It’s important to not judge an album cover because you can find the most interesting and beautiful albums especially with the Texas Jerusalem crossroads it’s an album that I never really expected much from until I decided to listen to it and wow it definitely shocked me that the trio managed to make the three genres work so beautifully well especially with the album being about the band being the chosen ones for the second coming of Christ although I’m not that religious I ... read more
FREE PALESTINE 🇵🇸🇵🇸 godspeed’s latest album is really interesting and I’ve never heard something this great since hallelujah. As always the post rock here is wonderful and it tells the story of the poor Palestinian people dying out there with the name of the cover and it’s genuinely heartbreaking seeing Israel commit a horrible genocide their story telling within the genre of post rock is just unique and this album definitely exceeded my expectations🍉🍉
Oh my god I never tweaked so fucking hard with this album. Knowing that black midis works are great this debut did not fail at all it takes a more jazz rock and prog rock approach to black midis usual output I’m so fucking fascinated that geordie created one hell of and this is actually an amazing album that’s worth to listen because wow how can you make an albums that has geordie telling you have a big dick and having such an amazing creativity with his debut
Ladies and gentlemen we’re back at it with the reviews
Quickly double checked if this was their debut and it is! it’s an amazing debut especially with the how lively and energetic the entire album is. It feels like venturing through a magical forest and fleet foxes delivered so well
This is a weird album tbh but it was a sign where Pink Floyd started settling on their sound in general and it shows with atom heart mother the track and then the second half with nice silly songs contributed by each member the only weird part of the album was alan psychedelic breakfast it was something alright
Anyways I’ll be taking a short break from reviewing as I need to process some personal stuff
Their debut is one of their more interesting albums as it has syd preform as he was the front man at the time before he eventually left but looking at how unique his song writing was is amazing and interesting to see from him as this debut completely shows his creativity and early input of the band
im suprised i havent review this album yet but wow this album is such a fun album and although it doesn't live up to the standards of seychelles his kitty record years were such a great start and ready to fly is HIS best song and every song here is just great throughout the listening experience
i was oblivious to knowing this was an live album because it sounds extremely amazing for a cool jazz album to be so soothing you can quite picture the music and it's such a wonderful jazz album that i consider to be underrated
If you want an amazing blues rock that is similar's to led zeppelins or just any blues rock at the time. This album is really worth to check out. I consider this to be one of their greatest albums that they've created for the blues rock genre. Although Led Zeppelin is considered better i still think its a great album in general.
oh wow i can tell John Coltrane managed to enlighten me with this album and i can see why this is most critically acclaimed album. It's such an amazing jazz album and i did not expect to immedialty like the album since the first 3 minutes of this wonderful piece of art,
oh my goodness gracious this collaboration between doom and madlib and truly show the most interesting experimental hip hop and i was just completely fascinated by how they managed to not only make an legendary album but create many amazing tracks within the runtime of 46 minutes
Quite literally one of the most interesting jazz rock albums I’ve ever listened to and I like the avant- prog in the beginning it’s such a weird start that I just enjoyed in general all the tracks vary in general some are instrumentals and others have vocals in this case only moon in June had it I think. Anyways this is an amazing jazz rock album that infuses a lot of interesting elements
It’s quite literally one of the greatest hard rock albums out there really. I like their folk rock approach in stairway to heaven and I think in general this album is such an experience to get into the genre of hard rock because god damn this is such an amazing and iconic album
When i rated to be kind i originally gave it a 100 and i thought about it after listening to soundtracks for the blind and i thought to myself these two albums are perfectly amazing in their own ways and i see why people consider this piece of media that can be truly horrifying especially knowing how some tracks can sound like they are from another place in the world. The field recordings make this album even more interesting to listen to and i consider this to be one of the greatest post rock ... read more
This feels like if duster and Radiohead had a baby I think this album just an experience where you feel you’re in space floating around towards the stars and I love that feeling it’s a great experience had to listen to it a few times to get an idea of how this album REALLY sounds and to finalize my thoughts on an amazing space rock revival album
oops i forgot to review this album even though i told myself "live ur gonna listen AND review kucha camp" and after having dementia i finally remembered!
Album is such a fun dream pop and neo-psychedelia album every track is just really nice and i love the whole vibe the album is. One of my personal favorite dream pop albums even though its not rated that high
quickly getting this out of the way but ill be slowing a bit down when it comes to reviewing stuff to focus on my senior year of school, I'll still review but like 1-2 albums a day or just for skip a day or two anyways!
Feedbacker is one of their more interesting work as it takes more to a post metal approach than compared to like flood (the only other boris album ive listned to) its 5 movements and the drone here is great i find it really interesting that its executed well in a album ... read more
A really nice vaporwave album I was just chill af and I wasn’t gafing about anything for 29 minutes
post rock is a genre where it primarily focuses on the instrumental aspect and avoiding the sound of rock in general to sound unique. Boris's Flood is an album that manages to start in a way thats confusing but as you slowly listen to more of the album it all makes sense and it makes you feel uneasy with the loud drums as if a storm was coming and throughout the album its pure drone and post rock and ONLY on the third track it features Takeshi's vocals and this is truly one of the ... read more
After waiting so long ginger root finally dropped another album and he delivered so well with fusing citypop and bedroom pop the whole album is just a groovy and funky album I love how creative he was the album in general and can’t wait to see him perform soon
