Lizzy McAlpine - five seconds flat

This album is such a huge step forward for Lizzy McAlpine. Her song writing has always been on point, but her first album was very acoustic and stripped back in production. That totally worked then, I find that to be a strength of that album actually. But this one really excels, with the same beautiful storytelling, but with songs that match that intensity. Every song hits and is beautifully constructed, honestly a perfect album for me and one that I'm probably gonna be endlessly shouting about being underrated for the rest of the year.
