This album is kinda middle of the road for me. While I wont deny (deny deny) that there are some really great songs on here, I dont think a large majority of the tracks reach the highs of Stick Season for me. Not saying he needs to aspire to recreate that again, but more just my thoughts.
As great as the music can be from Noah, I've always been drawn to his writing style, I really believe he is one of the best storytellers out there at the moment. There are some ... read more

Listened to this as an AURORA fan without knowing anything about Tom Rowlands. In that lens, a lot of this album doesnt do a ton for me but the songs I like here have dug their nails into my brain. Production on this one was a little out of my taste (I vividly remember thinking one song sounded like a microwave), but Aurora is great to listen to as usual.

Kinda exactly what I expected from a Good Kid record. Fun songs I'll come back to, but like very little substance. Lyrics are obviously the biggest point of failure here, these songs say a lot but dont actually SAY anything. I think there are some good songs here but nothing that like stands out against their EPs (I've only listened to 3 and 4 but there are songs there that I think are better, particularly on 3). They kinda mix it up a little with some of the ... read more

First time listening to an Underscores record. I heard Music when it was dropped as a single through social media and got hooked, so I've been waiting for the full album to come out.
I like it overall, though some songs a lot more than others. Her production choices are cool and I feel like theres a lot to be found in here, same with the writing. I really wasnt paying attention to the lyrics as much as I was just taking in the vibe, but I liked what I caught on first ... read more
