Okay, so 100 gecs is good? I wasn't expecting to actually like this, but this is awesome. Firstly, it's 26 minutes long. That's a lovely sight to see in an age where most albums (at least, most albums I listen to) are hour long slogfests. I appreciate it. Secondly, I love the rock and metal influences that can be heard here. I mean, my favorite song, Billy Knows Jamie, is literally a Limp Bizkit song without the absolutely putrid vocals of Fred Durst. I was always of the opinion that Limp Bizkit would be great with a better vocalist so thank you for proving me right once again. Lastly, it's 10 completely different songs. That's especially nice to hear in hyperpop, even if it's rock inflenced. I don't want to listen to an album with identical songs with only slight changes in between them. The only negative that I can mention is that the autotune can be pretty rough in places. Other than that, it's a surprisingly great experience, much better than anything I've heard from them.
