Hey, it's not as good as Sgt. Pepper's, but does that album come with a 24-page full color picture book? I don't think so.
So, this is pretty much just as good as any other Beatles album, but much less focused than it's immediate predecessors. I mean, you can't really find cohesion in an album that is half soundtrack and half unrelated singles attached to it just to boost sales. Regardless, the songs are mostly great with the exception of Flying, which is still a good track, but I didn't care for it that much. It's an amazing project, it just lacks the cohesion of Revolver and Sgt. Pepper's.
