This is what a chicken must feel like getting turned into nuggets
Really liked how raw this sounded, especially the vocals. This definitely has a lot of potential
slaughter to prevail in the studio like "yeah this is laughably bad, drop it"
"Fuck it, corpse paint mustache"
Starting Over is one of the best shoegaze songs I have ever heard, but the rest of the EP is pretty mid unfortunately
Postponing the album to rerecord the vocals and kick out the vocalist on the new release date for being a transphobic piece of shit is the most based thing that has ever happened in deathcore
This would get a much higher score if the lyrics weren't so painfully misogynistic, because musically it goes fucking hard
They really should be undoing a luciferian towers
In all seriousness though, this album is really lackluster, and feels like a watered down failed attempt to recreate some of their earlier albums. While not terrible, it's not something I'll put on when I want to listen to Godspeed. With a discography so filled with beautiful atmosphere and emotional crescendos, this album leaves a lot to be desired, and feels like a spot in their discography I sort of wish never happened.

why do people have to live outside, when there are buildings all around us with heat on an no one inside? :(
Love the At The Gates style riffs on this track. The start of the solo feels a bit out of place, but other than that, great track, and a return to form for In Flames
This is insane, really.
Hatred for Mankind perfectly fits the title of this absolutely crushing misanthropic serial-killer worship of an album, as at every moment this album feel like an utter assault against all that makes you human.
What makes this album so insanely good is its intense combination of brutal riffs and crazy intense drums, all borrowing heavily from death, black, and doom metal. But to just call this album "death metal", "doom metal", or "black ... read more
Ad Nauseam delivers a masterpiece of abrasive dissonance in the form of avant-garde/technical death metal on their sophomore record Imperative Imperceptible Impulse. This work of art shows a clear vision with heavy influences from bands such as Deathspell Omega and Gorguts, while at the same time building very much on the sheer brutality of the early death metal scene. This is not a record to take lightly, and it is a record that can be hard to fully digest and truly appreciate, and I feel like ... read more
