Even with this change of direction in production and aesthetic, no amount of neon, synthesizers or faux-80's-retroness can disguise the gravely uninspired songwriting that Muse seem to become more and more known for.

With this album, harunemuri finds a nice balance between pop-rock and experimentation. A complete mix of emotions are felt throughout the album, at times it's aggressive, at times it's a total bop - but the aesthetic and character that harunemuri presents with this album makes nothing feel out of place.

A unique concept that's well executed. Production and sampling are quite minimal but create a really effective atmosphere.

For the most part, everything on this album has been done by them many times before. Have been a massive fan of every Cloud Nothing's album - but Last Building Burning falls flat. It's quite telling there's a problem with their songwriting when the most interesting thing is 6 minutes of guitar feedback.

'Untitled Original' tracks are fucking phenomenal, well up there with the stuff from A Love Supreme, but the other tracks further on in the album are a little lacklustre in comparision.
