Hello everyone, I am writing this review off the computer of one of my family members. Um... you my laptop crashed.. everything is completely gone. This isn't really a review, I just wanted to update everyone.

Edit: Y'know what, I'm not going to associate this album with his previous works, this a review, on its own. Lets just pretend that Illinois and Carrie And Lowell never existed. (That would suck!)

This could be Sufjan's most divisive album since The Age Of Adz or A Sun Came, in sound this is Sufjan Stevens coming back to the start of his musical journey but in a slightly watered-down, filtered kind of Car Seat Headrest-y sound? But in lyrics, this is something much different, its quite weird ... read more

This raised the hairs on my spine. Chilling, but a beauty nonetheless.

This is the 2nd project I have heard from James Blake, the only other one I have heard is his self-titled debut and I love that record, while I can't say I loved this it has its moments and its an incredibly catchy glitch-pop album, nothing mind-blowing though.

FAV TRACKS: Summer Of Now

Ballads 1 had incredible potential and while had some straight duds had multiple mind-blowing tracks like "SLOW DANCING IN THE DARK" (which is one of my favourite songs of the 2010s btw) and while Ballads 1 was pretty good, this is pretty meh. I'm disappointed

I miss the old Joji
Disturbing pink man Joji
I don't know where I'm going with this Joji

And don't return to Filthy frank because YouTube sucks now Joj

Its 1976 and David Bowie is back and better than better than ever.

If I really had to pick, Station To Station is much better than Ziggy Stardust or Hunky Dory, something about this album is so lively, so fun and so unique. David Bowie's glam-rock era is now completely gone, hes in the "funky" stage and I mean that in a good way, a really good way.

FAV TRACKS: Station To Station, Golden Years, Stay

That's super cool, if you ask me. Dads introducing their kids to music at that young of an age, especially like, real music (as opposed to Baby Shark on repeat) needs to happen more.

Okay so I've never solicited for a list before, but I had an extra obnoxious idea and I wanted to get other people to contribute to me being obnoxious.

What album makes you think of your dad?

Hey! For a list I’m making, what is your feel good album?

Thank you for thinking so!
It would be better if I put in more pictures, but I do not know if it makes any sense now. I like your instagram because it is so natural and you put practically anything in there.
And it's nice that you like my playlist, I've been working on it for a long time although it has relatively few tracks compared to my playlist from Apple Music. I made it mainly so that I don't have to look for music on AOTY (there are half of the songs I've never listened to) I usually scroll through it and choose a cover that will interest me and then listen to this album. Currently I'm making a new playlist that combines Swans and Red Velvet music lmao.
Current Listening: Beeny The Butcher, Dorian Electra, Joji, Sufjan Stevens, 100 gecs, Idles

Music nerd and reviewer. Feel free to send me recs. Feel free to self-promote but I'm not guaranteeing I'll get round to listening to your project/single (or whatever you want to do), thanks in advance.
