I've already heard Dead Inside and Psycho before. I also recognise the chorus from Mercy, haven't heard for years. I really like this album, though it is nowhere near their best work. No 90s for this album unlike all the others I've listened to besides Will Of The People (Yet to do Showbiz and Simulation Theory), but still some great songs. (EDIT: one 90 now) (EDIT 2: two 90s now)
Revolt is my least favourite track coming in at a 73. It is much poppier compared to the rest of the album and does feel quite out of place, in my opinion. I didn't rate [Drill Sergeant] or [JFK] for obvious reasons. (Edit: now outdated. Drones is my lowest rated)
I liked Drones (the song) quite a lot. I love the harmonies, but clearly i'm in the minority for that opinion.
A critique is that a lot of the songs seem to revolve around the same or very similar lyrics. Its a concept album, yes, but I heard very similar lyrics concept wise coming up with not much variation. Musically, I did enjoy this album, though.
The Globalist is too long. I like long tracks, but this is just too long for the song itself. It could've been split. (Edit: its growing on me)
I loooooove the chorus in Defector and pre-chorus in Reapers.
Overall, this album is wayyy overhated, like most of their albums.
