Jack Harlow: Come Home the KIds MIss You Review
1. Talk Of The Town - 2.5
- Solid piano beat, but Jack sounds really bored and is as corny as ever maybe even worse. I'm worried for what I'm getting myself into
2. Young Harleezy - 2
- So drake on a budget doesn't make a good song out of a song called Young Harleezy. This goofy beat really isn't helping and the almost 4 minute runtime makes this a drag.
3. I'd Do Anything To Make You Smile - 0
- No way he put a fucking cricket into this beat. ... read more
Lil Uzi Vert: Red & White Review
1. SPACE CADET - 9
- This song is so energetic and fun. The first single from this EP was a perfect mix between new LIl Uzi and Old Uzi and shows why for a long time he was one of my favorite rappers out. The hook is so fucking catchy and the autotune sounds amazing. Damn near perfect intro for this ep.
2. I KNOW - 5.5
- The energy does drop a little bit from Space Cadet and this track is kinda meh. My main problem with this one is that Uzi sounds a bit ... read more
Westside Gunn: Peace "Fly" God
1. Peace Flygod - N/A
- Very smooth production with a nice spoken word intro from Bro A.A Rashid, nice little preview into what to expect thematically on this record.
2. Jesus Crack - 6
- Extremely slow intro which is almost a continuation of the previous spoken word track. I'm personally not a fan of what Estee Nack did on this one. Westside was very mild on this one, lyrically very tame and didn't pick up until the Grand Puba. After the Grand Puba ... read more
Steve Lacy: Gemini Rights Review
1. Static - 8
- Very solid opening track as the summery vibe of the song makes it a very easy listen. I can see the appeal of Steve’s music from this song as the airy vibey production mixes with his production really well. The only downside I can see so far is that his lyrics can be a bit corny at times but it didn’t mess up the song too much for me. Overall very solid opening track
2. Helmet - 8
- this album really seems special, this has more of ... read more
Pusha T: It’s Almost Dry Review
1. Brambleton - 9
- The opening track on his first album since Daytona picks up where he left off, tough lyrically and sounds very very good. Push sounds hungry and Pharrell kills it on production
2. Let The Smokers Shine The Coupes - 10
- Pharrell went FUCKING CRAZY, the beat is insane and push slides on it lyrically makes you feel like your fucking Pablo Escobar. Easy 10
3. Dreamin Of The Past ft Kanye West - 9.5
- Kanye shows why he is the goat on this ... read more
Joji: Glimpse of Us Review
Truly one of the beautiful songs I’ve ever heard, his voice is so perfect for this sound. Such a loving sound and that piano and the harmonizing is gorgeous. One of the best songs of the year as Joji keeps solidifying himself as not just a “real artist” but as one of the better singer/songwriters of this generation.
This is so fucking catchy
Laroi fucking slidessssssss on the drill beat and continues to be the most overhated artist in the game in my eyes
The beat is amazing perfect drill beat for Laroi to shine the hook is fantasic
Fivio is ok, typical solid fivio verse
This might be the song of the summer
Yeat x Minions: Rich Minion Review
I DONT LIKE VECTOR 😈😈💀🍌
this song unironically bumps in Yeats first single back since 2 alivë and he makes a fun great song about the minions. This song is so fucking hilarious and I love it
I CALL MINIONS MY CHILDREN, I CALL MY CHILDREN MY MINIONS 🍌🍌🍌😈😈😈🍌🍌🍌
Cardi B: Hot Shit Review
- Cardi B’s comeback song is a success, She proves she can still make good rap songs. Her verse and hook were better than I expected. Standard Lil Durk verse nothing special but nothing bad either. Kanye is interesting on this, his verse has grown on me but this is a good song.
Vory: Daylight Review
1.Lost Souls ft Fresco Trey
- good opening track, I couldn’t tell Fresco and Vory apart first listen but this song is good I’m excited for what this album has in store. The potential of Vory shines here. 7
2. Daylight ft Kanye West
- who mixed this song, Kanye sounds uninterested and the horrible mix doesn’t help, Vory was ok but he was mixed like shit too, considering the magic these 2 did together on Donda this shit demo track is super disappointing. ... read more
Roddy Ricch
The Big 3: Review
1. Real Talk
- does Roddy even care anymore, this song is so bland and Roddy is proving he isn't good. At least the beat doesn't suck and Roddy is mildly tolerable, but this is a disappointing opener for ur comeback ep. 6
2. Toosie's
- beat is hard at times but Roddy sounds like shit, honestly Roddy lyrically is embarrassingly bad this song is horrible. 2
3. No Mop
- is Roddy trying to make bad music, this is bad again, ruining a solid beat by offbeat weird vocals ... read more
Pharell, please tell me how much acid you were on making this beat
-21's verse is nice
- hook is asssssssss
-Tyler gave a very standard verse, nothing special
Lowkey this shit is ass
Post Malone: Twelve Carat Toothache
1.Reputation
- holy fuck this blew my expectations of this record through the fucking roof. This is beautiful one of my favorite posty songs ever, lyrics beat and voice all perfect. 10.
2. Cooped Up
- one of the 2 singles leading up to this album, post is very good on here, super catchy, but Roddy Ricch man, what the actual fuck happened, he used to be one of my favorite rappers but he has been shit for a while now. 7, could go up or down depending on how ... read more
Kaycyy: Get Used To It Review
1. Look What I Found
-Might be my favorite trap song of the year so far, amazing intro to the mixtape. Lancey went crazy and Kaycyy kept up the vibe, easy 10 for me
2. Replay
-worst track on the mixtape, it goes pretty hard but a bit lifeless, kinda like a worse edition of Borrow, could do without it, probably a 5 to 5.5
3. Shoutouts
- another banger, goes pretty hard, Kaycyy shows here how he is a superstar in the making, song isn't the best on this ep but its ... read more
The fact this isn't actually good is shocking.
Post Malone has regressed horribly since Beerbongs and Bentley's, his production choices have actually been dog shit, he's not bad on this but a collab between the 2 best male singers of the last decade should be a better song than this. Hopefully this grows on me because it's gonna be on the radio until I die.
The Weeknd is still the best pop singer in the world at the moment but probably his most lackluster performance of the year between this ... read more
ESCAPE PLAN- One of the best Travis Songs ever. The beat is very carti inspired and ridiculously hard on this. Travis just flows and this track is a 100.
MAFIA- Alright, cole is ok on it, mid level beat, seems like a leftover off the Off Season. Like a 70
If Dystopia is ESCAPE PLAN, this might be Travis's best album ever and a contender for AOTY, if it's mafia it might be top 5.
Needs work on his production and the Lil Mosey feature was awful but the rest of the album was beautiful. Kid Larois voice is spectacular.
Best Tracks: Tell Me Why Not Fair Go I Wish Maybe
Worst Track Running
Not my type of vibe and a little too little emotion but this album bleeds potential. Good work Jaden but personally I like a more emotional Jaden
